Ten Years of KING ICT in Bosnia and Herzegovina

This year, KING ICT celebrates 10 years of conducting business in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The 10th anniversary celebration was held on 23 November at Pivnica HS in Sarajevo in the company of partners, contractors and customers.

KING ICT was established in Sarajevo in 2006 as part of KING ICT Group that presently employs over 350 people and operates in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia and Kosovo. Like its parent company, KING ICT’s business in Bosnia and Herzegovina was focused on developing the IT market and providing advanced ICT solutions right from the start.

KING ICT in Sarajevo now has over 20 employees – engineers, technicians, sales representatives and administrators – who help achieve successful project implementations through joint efforts. In these past ten years in business, the company implemented over 100 system integration projects across the country in various industries: energy, telecommunications, finance, transport and agriculture, in both private and public sectors.

The first major project was a solution for checking vehicle technical inspection attendance. Equipment and a system identifying each vehicle and verifying its appearance for a technical inspection were implemented at 156 stations. This advanced project was followed by a number of other projects where KING ICT provided solutions resulting in numerous benefits to corporations and institutions, both in the private and public sectors – from business modernization and informatization, administrative process automation and information and physical security to transparency of procedures in public administration. Modern data centers were built for the Al Jazeera TV channel, the BBI bank, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (VSTV) and the Federal Ministry of the Interior. A video wall and IT equipment system was installed in the 112 Operations & Communications Center to support the 112 system. Our technical security projects include intersection video surveillance installed in the ZE-DO Canton and a border crossing video surveillance project for BIHAMK (Motoring Club of Bosnia and Herzegovina).

We implemented another project for VSTV, a DLP system, and supplied an election result application to the Central Electoral Commission (CIK). An IT system device and security monitoring system was implemented for the public motorway company JP Autoceste FBiH. We supplied an ePolice solution to the Brčko District Police Force and an e-kiosk solution to Opresa. A DMS system was implemented at the power distribution company Elektroprivreda HZHB, an HR management solution was supplied to Croatia osiguranje Ljubuški, and ArcelorMittal Zenica was provided with a SAP ERP solution. Border crossing control software was developed and implemented for the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Agricultural financial incentive processing software and the Farmer portal were developed and implemented for the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry. We implemented several projects for Eronet (IAM, ESB, RM, a firewall system…).

These projects account for only a small part of our overall successful collaboration with customers and partners.

Over the years, KING ICT has established significant partnerships with renowned technological companies. These partnerships are among the most important confirmations of our competence in providing complex solutions. Our competence is also demonstrated by awards. At the recent Microsoft BiH conference termed Partner Day 2016, KING ICT received an award for the best implemented MS-based solution in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past year. This pertains to the implementation of a Data Warehouse & BI solution at Elektroprivreda BiH. In addition to holding a Microsoft Gold status, KING ICT has been the only HP partner with a Gold status in Bosnia and Herzegovina since November 1st. The company’s partners also include APC, Cisco, IBM, Oracle, SAP, VMware etc. – a total of 35 international ICT companies.

A statement from Adis Pobrić, Director of KING ICT BiH:
“The company could not have achieved its success on the IT market without satisfied customers. Over 300 businesses and organizations put their trust in us over the past ten years and we thank them for it. In addition to our hardworking employees and partners, they are an important component that drives KING ICT’s growth and development. We have achieved plenty together during our first ten years. We strive to continue driving the development of the IT market of Bosnia and Herzegovina and this is only possible by combining our efforts as we have done so far”.
