Entitled 'Connected with Knowledge (... 25 years)’, the 19th CARNet Users Conference - CUC 2017 will take place in Dubrovnik, from November 8th to 10th. This year’s main topic is learning focused on students, with an emphasis on technological development that contributes to the improvement of our education.
How much technology changes the students’ lives? In what way has the Internet, whose 25th birthday Croatia celebrates this year, influenced the quality of learning? Speakers, teachers, principals and other conference participants will try to answer these and many more questions.
KING ICT, as the Golden Sponsor of the Conference this year, introduces the concept of a modern and digital classroom as part of the ‘Modern Classroom Tailored to Students’ Needs’ workshop.
The participants in the workshop will get the opportunity to see and learn how teaching, with the help of modern solutions and technologies, can be simpler and more enjoyable for teachers and students. The teaching management system allows the teachers to monitor their students and the level of their learning comprehension while providing students with a new, more interesting and interactive way of learning, preparing them for new technologies that are part of the professions of the future.
Snježana Fištrović, a professor of German language and literature at Karlovac Grammar School who currently conducts educations as part of CARNet e-School project, will introduce the modern classroom.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday, November 8th from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. and on Thursday, 9th November from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. at Hotel Lacroma. Find more information here
